COVID-19 Club Statement
With the uncertainty in the world just now and the recent suspension of football we understand there will be questions over monthly club fees.
Although nobody knows how long the suspension will last and whilst we understand there will be a lot of uncertainty at home with our members and their families, the club has still to run and pay bills of our own.
Our fee structure is made up of two elements, membership of the club and payment for participation.
With that in mind we will not be collecting the payments for participation component but still collecting memberships at a reduced rate, thus reducing fees to £5.00 per month per member from the next payment which is due to be collected at the beginning of April. This will ensure that the club manages to meet the monthly outgoings not directly linked to providing football for our members and ensures our members are not being asked to pay for a football provision which cannot be delivered at this time.
We would respectfully ask that direct debits are not cancelled as the memberships are needed to ensure survival of the club and allow us to come back after the suspension with the same strengths that we have built over previous years. Cancellation of direct debits would also mean a mammoth task for our volunteers when the current suspension lifts and we return to football. Payment amounts will be amended by the club and the bill payer does not require to take any action.
Anyone facing financial hardship should get in touch as cases will be dealt with individually. I can be emailed on teampresident@kirriethistlecfc.co.uk for initial contact.
As ever we appreciate your cooperation in these difficult times.
Please stay safe, look after loved ones and help those who need assistance.
